What do doctors do for broken hands, fractured hand,and hairline cracked hands because I mull over I may have one of those and I be wondering what would happen for respectively scenarioFractured mitt?
they will put a cast on you...
depending on how bleak the break/fracture is determines how long it will be on...if its really bad..you might own to get surgery

Splinting a fracture is significant in reducing discomfort and for speeding healing.

Steps
1Step OneAssess for fracture (see "How to Assess for Fracture During First Aid").
2Step TwoImmobilize the injured appendage. Any movement will be very hurting and can worsen the injury.
3Step ThreeGet some rigid material long ample to extend at least from above the wrist to the extension of the fingers. One possibility is to cut an ensolite sleeping pad to the right length and consequently fold it over to increase rigidity.
4Step FourMake sure the wrist is straight and that the hand is within the "position of function."
5Step FivePut a wad of clothing, or some other soft bits and pieces, into the injured person's hand to protract the position of function.
6Step SixPlace the splinting material along the underside of the wrist and paw so that it extends from above the wrist to the end of the fingers.
7Step SevenFold the splinting matter up around the sides of the wrist.
8Step EightSecure the splinting material into place by spiraling a roll of gauze around the wrist and appendage from one end of the splint to the other.
9Step NineSecure the gauze near athletic tape.
10Step TenPlace nouns in any untaken spaces between the splint and the wrist and hand.
