Evoxac? Any problems anyone?

Has anyone ever been on a medication call Evoxac? It is a medication for Sjogren's Syndrome, to try and counteract some of the affects of the dry mouth cause by the condition. My mom is on the medication and she also have a heart condition. She was on the medication for 3 years and her doctor enjoy taken it away. They have since have to return it to her but not as often. Has anyone else have this problem with this medication?Evoxac? Any problems anyone?
A small percentage of patients treated next to Evoxac report cardiovascular complications such as peripheral edema, chest niggle, edema and palpitations. The best drug treatments for this disease are all surrounded by the same drug class, and so they may cause same problems near cardiac side effects (ex. pilocarpine). You may want to check with a physician (i.e. mom's cardiologist) to see if the cardiac problem is significant. If your mom have had cardiac rhythm problems or chest torment, for example, drugs in this class should be avoided, but some "heart conditions" are more benign.
There are also a few non-prescription drugs that are informative for dry mouth like saliva substitutes, biotene gum, Glandosane mouth moisturizer, MouthKote, Optimoist, or ORALbalance.
nope sorry, never hear of the med or the syndrome!
